Who are you?
Matthew Fabb.

What are you up to?
Trying to recover from being sick so I can get through my exams.

Hometown and current HQ:
Mississauga, aka suburb hell.

Current fixations:
Music, the internet, music, trying to get a permant job doing web design, music, Scratching Post and all the cool fans who I've befriended at their shows, music, the environment, music, politics, music, how funny US politics has been getting lately and lastly but not least music (like you saw that coming).

Mind altering work of art (not your own):
H. R. Giger's artwork, both intresting and sexually distrubing.

Most memorable/inspirational gig and why?
The many times I've seen Radiohead... they simply blow me away and Thom Yorke is so incredible when he plays live and gets into his own little work.

What should everyone shut up about?
Bad fake pop bands!!

Your greatest strength and weakness:
Reliable in all situations (strength) except when it requires me to be on time (weakness).

Your vital daily ritual:
The grinding upwards struggle to get my ass out of bed in the morning.

Guilty pleasure:
Tranformers: The Movie on DVD!

If I wasn't playing music I would be:
Learning how to play music since I don't know how to play jack shit!

Your most memorable day job:
Day job? You mean people don't just work at nights?

Best/worst advice received:
Go out with her, I mean what do you have to lose? (uhhhh, my respect, pride and dignity to name a few).

I would drop everything to play a benefit for:
Environmental cause.

What makes you want to take it off and get it on?
My fiancé.

What personal trait would make you kick someone out of your band? And have you?
Being able to control everyone's mind to the very brink of destruction. No, I haven't kicked someone out for that because I am not in a band (but wish I was).

When I think of Canada I think:
When recounts happen in our federal election they last one or two days tops.

Music and sex: Is there a difference? Why?
No, both include lots of wild screaming and yelling, crazy energy and bizarre movements and ends with you tired and stunned and wanting more.

Strangest brush with celebrity:
Snake from Degrassi at the Toronto Street Festival, when Scratching Post were filming their Rock Past It video... I was beside him during about half of the concert and he looked famillar but at the time I had no idea who the hell he was.

What does your mom wish you were doing instead?
Going to church like a good little boy.
