Matthew Good has pulled out of tonight's concert in Prince George, BC, as he is still recovering from pneumonia in hospital.
The show, which also features Our Lady Peace on the bill as part of a cross-country tour, was originally scheduled for yesterday (March 28). It was postponed to today, after Good collapsed onstage in Edmonton on Tuesday (March 27) night.
The show will now go ahead tonight at the CN Centre, but without Good, as per his doctor's orders. Our Lady Peace and opening act Ellevator will still perform.
Fans who wish to receive refunds may do so between 12 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. local time through TicketsNorth.
In a Facebook message to fans, Good's management team noted that the singer was "very disappointed" to miss the show in Prince George, but also said that he "remains hopeful" that he will be able to join the tour for its final two stops later this week.
The tour is scheduled to wrap up with shows in Kelowna on March 30 and in Abbotsford on March 31.
UPDATE (3/30, 12 p.m. EDT): Promoters Live Nation have now confirmed that Good will be rejoining the tour for its final dates in Kelowna and Abbotsford, as he's now been released from hospital.
"I spent time with Matt last night in the hospital," OLP frontman Raine Maida said in a statement. "He made it clear he wanted the tour to go on, and he will make it back out playing as soon as the doctors clear him."
