As previously reported, R&B legend Mavis Staples has teamed up with a great deal of contemporary artists to create a new album called Livin' on a High Note. Today, we get another taste of the release with a new track called "Dedicated."
The song was written by Bon Iver's Justin Vernon alongside M. Ward (who also produced the album). It pairs Staples' timeless voice with some meaty guitar leads and sparse organ.
