Somewhere in the depths of the where-are-they-now files, Glenn Danzig is socked away giving this six-track singles collection from one of Toronto's best live acts repeated listens in an attempt to recapture his mojo, or at least he should be. This is the kind of music that the diminutive former Misfit should have been writing when he went solo instead of that goofy heavy-devil stuff he pumps out. MRnR vocalist Louie Durand is a ringer for Walk Among Us-era Danzig while musically the band is more akin to the speed punk of New Bomb Turks with the metallic edge of early Motörhead. Throw producer Ian Blurton into the mix and you have the makings of a pretty damn potent rock and roll cocktail.
