Notoriously destructive Norwegian black metal fathers Mayhem are known to cause problems everywhere they go. Most recently, they tried to headline a North American tour and were met with disastrous circumstances. Now, the band have been arrested in Holland in the middle of a European tour.
According to De Telegraaf [via Blabbermouth], the members were arrested on Monday morning (November 16) for allegedly trashing their hotel room in Tilburg, Holland. An employee of the hotel reportedly found plants thrown in the street, the bathroom demolished, the TV and bed destroyed, and some mysterious stains on the walls.
The hotel estimates that the damages are worth at least 5,000 euros (about $7,800 Canadian). The band have been arrested, and will not be released from jail until they pay for the damages.
