In July, Megan Thee Stallion was hospitalized following an incident in the Hollywood Hills that also saw Tory Lanez arrested on a concealed weapons charge. Further reports revealed that Megan had been shot in the foot, and while the Canadian artist was alleged to have been the shooter, that detail had yet to be confirmed.  Now, the "WAP" hitmaker has confirmed that Lanez shot her.

"Yes this n***a Tory shot me," Megan said in an Instagram Live video (archived below). "You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lyin' and shit. Stop lyin'. Why lie?"

Megan recalled how Lanez, herself and two others were riding in an SUV when an argument broke out. She claimed that upon leaving the vehicle to distance herself from the conflict, Lanez fired shots at her from inside the vehicle, hitting her twice in the foot.

Megan added that a witness soon called the police, which made her fear what could happen upon their arrival.

"The police come — I'm scared," she explained. "All this shit goin' on with the police? Police is shootin' motherfuckers for anything. The police was literally killin' Black people for no motherfuckin' reason. Soon as the police tell us all get out the motherfuckin' car, the police is really aggressive. You think I'm bout to tell the police that we, n***as, us black people, got a gun in the car? You want me to tell the law we got a gun in the car so they can shoot all of us up?"

In a previous Instagram Live broadcast, Megan shared how she received surgery following the shooting.

"I was shot in both of my feet, and I had to get surgery to get the shit taken out, get the bullets taken out, and it was super scary," she said. "It was super scary, it was just the worst experience of my life, and it's not funny. It's nothing to joke about and it's nothing for y'all to go and be making fake stories about. I didn't put my hands on nobody. I didn't deserve to get shot."

In July, it was announced that the LAPD were formally investigating the allegations against Lanez. At the time, Megan tweeted, "Black women are so unprotected & we hold so many things in to protect the feelings of others w/o considering our own. It might be funny to y'all on the internet and just another messy topic for you to talk about but this is my real life and I'm real life hurt and traumatized."
