Tampa-based post-punks Merchandise offered up their mopey, if melodic, Total Nite EP earlier this year, but to mark the start of their current tour, they've now fit the record's epic title cut with a kaleidoscopic video.
While ill-lit and ambiguous at first, the video eventually swirls together footage of the band playing the song, which sounds something like a jam session between the Banshees and "India"-era Psychedelic Furs. Fittingly, after weaving fuzzy and frightening six-strings and free jazz sax skronks into their gloomy tune, a negative image of a web-spinning spider runs across the screen.
You can check out the creepy, crawly activities down below.
Merchandise kick off their tour tonight (June 6) in Louisville, KY, and will hit up Montreal's Il Motore on June 11 before playing a pair of gigs in Toronto as part of NXNE. You can check out all the dates over here.
