Metallica are in the midst of taking over Toronto, playing a stadium show last night (April 24) followed by another tomorrow (April 26). Metallica singer James Hetfield marked his arrival in the city by catching a Maple Leafs playoff game and hanging out with a Leafs legend.

Hetfield went to the Leafs game on Tuesday (April 22), against the Ottawa Senators. Metallica later shared photos from the game on Instagram, revealing that Hetfield posed for a picture with early-'90s Leafs captain Wendel Clark — as well as taking a photo with Leafs mascot Carlton the Bear.

He also took a photo with Adam Copeland, a.k.a. pro wrestler Edge, who hails from Orangeville, ON, an hour outside of Toronto.

See the photos below. The Leafs ended up winning the game 3–2 in overtime — as well as winning the next game (April 24) 3–2 in overtime also, so maybe Hetfield is a good-luck charm for the Leafs.
