Remember live performance videos? Metric have shared a performance video, which they're describing as "so '90s," for "What Feels Like Eternity" from the forthcoming Formentera.
The song is a dance-rock banger, its driving low end, moodily deadpan vocals and buzzy electronic elements making it sound like a classic Metric song.
The accompanying video, directed by Justin Broadbent, is a straightforward performance clip from a soundstage — at least until it breaks the fourth wall during the dreamy dance bridge, with candid B-roll, costume changes and an Emily Haines doppelgänger.
"What Feels Like Eternity" is the third song to come out from Formentera, following "All Comes Crashing" and "Doomscroller." The album drops on July 8.
