These days, we've all been spending a lot of time on the phone, and Toronto-based R&B singer Mighloe is trying to curb the habit. Her new single, "Don't Call Me," is out now.

The track is driven by Mighloe's strong vocals atop boom-bap production lightly accented by guitars, synths and background vocals before culminating in a reverb-drenched guitar solo. An accompanying video finds Mighloe in a luxurious suite clad in her finest threads, as she confidently takes the phone off the hook, letting it faintly ring out through the song's conclusion.

In a press release, she said, "Writing 'Don't Call Me' came from a place of being fed up. There are so many people that come in and out of our lives, and sometimes these people hinder our stability and sense of self. This song was my way of saying 'enough!' I will no longer let these people take parts of myself. It's me realizing that my energy is sacred and will not be disturbed. It's the final 'fuck you,' but say it politely."

"Don't Call Me" is the first single from Mighloe's upcoming EP, Desperate Times, due for release in the spring via Public Records.
