Miguel Migs’ latest mix is a pleasing tour through modern house music. It’s fun and unpretentious and clearly intended to be a party mix, and thankfully there’s nothing cheesy, experimental or minimal about it. It’s proper American and British house with some tracks featuring vocals, guitars, saxes and other instruments in the mix. I really like Kings of Tomorrow’s flute-led "Thru,” the great vocals of Lisa Shaw on "Feel,” Migs’ own "Remember” and Recloose’s "Dust,” which has a cosmic space-funk feel to it. Overall, it’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s better than most other house compilations.
