Of course this quartet is not from the home of Lenny, Squiggy, Richie and the Fonz... don't be silly. They are from New Jersey, naturally. Not that geography has anything to do with good music. Following up their debut disc, Missile Command, the band continues to explore their rock side with six songs that sound like they were crafted by a consortium of Hüsker Dü, Foo Fighters and Farside fans after a night of heavy drinking. The songs are rough and raw yet powerfully melodic and emotive. They're part of a new school of melodic power-pop/punkers that includes Someday I, Wretch Like Me and fellow Jersey-ites Kid With Man Head. Can't wait for another full-length.
