Missy Elliott Set to Drop New Music Over Labour Day Weekend

Earlier this year, hip-hop's best buds Missy Elliott and Timbaland hinted that they would both be releasing new albums in June. Well, that didn't happen, but the famed producer announced that Missy will be returning to the game when she releases two new singles next weekend (September 1-3).

Over this past weekend Timbaland tweeted: "oh snapp yall my sista @MissyElliott is droppin her singles #9thinning and #triplethreat labor day weekend. watch it world we backk!!!"

The new tunes are expected to appear on the rapper's long-awaited Block Party album. Missy Elliott's last full-length was 2005's The Cookbook, though she has performed "9th Inning" and "Triple Threat" live, which you can check out below.
