If you missed when Mk.gee — the singer-songwriter born Michael Todd Gordon who released the great debut album, Two Star & the Dream Police, earlier this year, and counts Eric Clapton as a fan — came through town on his North American tour last month, fear not: he's announced a world tour to close out the year, which will bring him back to Vancouver and Toronto this fall.
Mk.gee took to Instagram last night (June 9) to post a video clip of him performing the song "Breakthespell" in Los Angeles and let fans know that they could access world tour information early via his website. The stint on the road kicks off on September 2 at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom. The subsequent Canadian date comes toward the end of the North American leg, with the artist beginning the month of October with a performance at Toronto's History.
He'll complete his North American commitments south of the border on October 5 in Minneapolis, MN, before heading off to the UK, Europe and Australia. While not yet listed on Ticketmaster, tickets are set to go on sale to the general public this Friday (June 14) at 10 a.m. local time. You can sign up for presale access here and find the full itinerary below.
