Nearly three years on from releasing her sophomore LP In My Dreams, East Coast singer-songwriter Mo Kenney has lifted the curtain on a new body of work. Titled The Details, Kenney's new record arrives September 29 through Pheromone Recordings.
A press release notes that The Details is "a new set of songs far removed from the confines of the singer-songwriting world where she first became known and adored."
Kenney is said to trace "her own strange, devastating, and ultimately hopeful trip through the trials and tribulations of booze-fuelled breakdowns, clouds of depression, and disintegrating relationships."
"The Details is a 14-song concept album," she said in a statement. "The album starts off kind of hopeless and gets progressively more optimistic. This album is the details of coming out the other side."
