Mogwai have announced they will auction off the old pacemaker of drummer Martin Bulloch, after he was fitted for a new one yesterday (September 20). Guitarist Stuart Braithwaite posted a message on the band's MySpace blog. Titled "Buy Martins old pacemaker!!", Stuart wrote:
"In the last few hours Martin got out of theatre after getting a new heart pacemaker fitted. As we did before we will be organizing an e-bay auction to sell his old pacemaker with the proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation. Details will follow shortly. Get well soon Martin!"
So, keep your eyes peeled for the auction, that is if you're looking for a beat up, used pacemaker...
