Montreal's annual celebration of "liberation music" is set to return to the city, with Suoni Per Il Popolo announcing that its 2016 edition will run from June 2 to 20.
The weeks-long run of shows will take place at multiple venues, including Casa Del Popolo, La Sala Rossa, La Vitrola and Café Resonance.
The initial list of performers for this year's festival has been revealed, and the 2016 roster includes the following long list of artists:
