London-based dubstep experimenters Mount Kimbie achieved breakthrough success with the release of their debut album, Crooks & Lovers, last summer. Following it up with a North American tour, the duo have been earning their stripes as hardworking party starters. Before they get started on their sophomore album, they will mine the Crooks & Lovers material for one more EP.
The new EP is called Carbonated and features the Crooks & Lovers track of the same name. Along with that song, Clash Music reports that the EP will include rare tracks "Bave's Chords" and "Flux," alongside remixes from Airhead, Peter Van Hoesen and Klaus.
The Carbonated EP will be released on June 27 in the UK via Hot Flush. The title track can be heard below.
