Having trading in old-tyme vests for leather jackets, Mumford & Sons have shared another taste of their electric sound with a performance video for "Snake Eyes."
The song begins with soft, sentimental plucking, but the arrangement gradually builds over the course of its four-minute runtime and culminates in a loud rock crescendo. There's a violinist at the back of the stage, but his contributions are inaudible amidst the distorted tones from the guitar-wielding guys up front.
Mumford & Sons will release Wilder Mind on May 5 through Island Records.
