Muneshine released a music video this past winter with promises that an album would follow, and sure enough, the Toronto rapper/producer (and frequent D-Sisive collaborator) has confirmed the collection's impending arrival.
In Transit will drop on June 30 through Scissor Records/Tommy Boy. Contributing producers include Exile, Freddie Joachim, Oddisee, Kev Brown and LAKIM, while official remixes will come from StarRo, LAKIM, Bug Seed, Elaquent, AbJo, Vanilla and Nehzuil.
A press release calls the album "Muneshine's gift to the world," and describes it like this: "Incorporating contemporary sounds and production, he has evolved future beats to a point where street meets classic, both worlds collide."
For a taste of this, hear a chilled-out Freddie Joachim remix of the Dminor-featuring "Venus & Mars."
