As previously reported, Mykki Blanco is dropping the Betty Rubble: The Initiation mixtape sometime in March, but is giving people a sneak preview of the freelease via new track "Feeling Special."
The track thrives off a minimalist boom-and-snap beat, delivered by producer Matrixxman, while Blanco spits some barbs against snitches and sets up a mean-mouthed "why did the chicken cross the road" joke to convert anyone who isn't already a full-fledged fan ("You my disciples now, and this that new religion"). Blanco also adds an almost tantric wobble to a half-sung hook that implores us to follow the singer down that rabbit hole. It's hard to resist.
