New York rapper Mykki Blanco (aka conceptual performance artist Michael D. Quattlebaum) hit big in 2012 with her twisted Cosmic Angel: The Illuminati Prince/ss mixtape, and some high-profile tour dates with hip-hop troublemakers Death Grips. The experimental spitter has now revealed that she'll be following up her recent release with a new EP.
Earlier this week, the rapper tweeted that the impending Betty Rubble: The Initiation would arrive sometime this winter, but earlier today (December 28), Blanco got a little more specific, noting that it is now "slated for early March 2013 release ......... be on the lookout."
Not much more info has been offered up beyond that, but the two tweeted tidbits suggest that we should be hearing more music out of her before the spring equinox (March 20).
In the meantime, you can stream or download Cosmic Angel: The Illuminati Prince/ss, which was one of our favourite mixtapes of the year, down below.
