Dave Grohl's 11-Year-Old Nemesis Nandi Bushell Wrote a Song with Tom Morello

The tiny rocker says her collab with the Rage Against the Machine guitarist is coming soon

Nandi Bushell — viral drumming sensation, Dave Grohl BFF and tiny rock star — recently took a trip from the UK to America, meeting a bunch of famous friends, performing with Grohl onstage at a Foo Fighters show, and apparently writing a song with Tom Morello.

Bushell posted an Instagram slideshow recapping her trip, sharing a photo with Morello and his son Roman. In the caption, Bushell wrote, "We have written an #Epic song together (not the one you hear in our sweet improvisational jam). Our new song is going to be released soon!!! I can't wait for you all to hear it! Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful family!"

There's no word on what the song is called or how it will sound, but it's probably safe to say that drums will feature prominently.

Morello and Bushell first connected last year after the 11-year-old drummer posted a video of herself covering Rage Against the Machine's "Guerilla Radio" as a tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement. Morello sent her a "Soul Power" emblazoned Fender strat in return.

While stateside, Bushell also met with Incubus drummer Jose Pasillas, Red Hot Chilli Peppers' Chad Smith and David Lee Roth band drummer Gregg Bissonette. She also appeared on One Life One Chance, the podcast hosted by H20's Toby Morse. That's a very busy child!

Check out Bushell's Instagram post and her onstage reunion with Grohl, where she played on "Everlong," below.
