As previously reported, Olympia, WA's Naomi Punk and Captured Tracks are teaming up for a vinyl re-launch of the band's once-limited The Feeling LP, which will hit shops Tuesday (November 20). The round two promotional push is now getting even more buzz via a bizarre black and white clip for the album's "Voodoo Trust."
Musically, the post-punk jam features ooky six-string licks in its menacing verses, but the song softens up with an infectiously poppy chorus. The clip has a similarly sweet-but-spooky vibe, with a jumbled layer of visuals displaying nature scenes, painted messages and ghoulish, face-painted figures lip-synching the song from darkened rooms and lurking about corridors.
