Following the release of her self-titled debut last month, singer-songwriter Natalie Prass has shared a new video for the song "Why Don't You Believe in Me."
The song plays off of the makeup tutorial videos that are so wildly popular on YouTube, but this time around Prass "removes" layers of makeup to reveal her true face. What she's really doing is some terrifying green screen trickery.
"The song is about self doubt," the performer told NPR. "So we thought it was appropriate that the video relate to the idea of self examination and layers that both distort and reveal."
