Halifax pop duo Neon Dreams had their Atlantic bubble tour in 2020, and now, they're giving Ontario and Quebec a run of shows in May. To mark the occasion, they've also shared a new song called "Little Dance."
Inspired by the band's trip to South Africa on tour and frontman Frank Kadillac's face-to-face run-in with a shark, the happy-go-lucky new single comes attached to a fittingly colourful music video co-directed by Dan Lewis and Kadillac.
"While attending a meditation retreat a few days before, I was walking through the garden observing how life works through the birds and little annoying flies when I had a perspective shift," Frank said of the trip.
He continued:
Those little annoying flies were not annoying, they were dancing. They were finding purpose. They were falling in love. They don't live long. But they do their best to enjoy each moment from sunup to sundown. Everyone is doing their own dance through life and if you see someone dancing in your direction, you have the choice to dance with them or let them pass by and continue your dance.
Kadillac and co-Dreamer Adrian Morris will bring their latest single, among presumably many other tunes, along with them on tour in late May. Cities included on the Ontario run are London, Hamilton, Toronto and Ottawa. They'll close out the tour with a lone Quebec stop in Montreal on May 29. Find ticket information here.
