The double-LP reissue arrives April 1 through Universal's "Respect the Classics" series, which has already highlighted iconic records from the likes Kanye West, Public Enemy and N.W.A.
More details on the In Search Of... repress have arrived since it was first teased last fall, with news that it comes pressed on limited-edition white vinyl. This is the first vinyl pressing of the album since 2002.
The debut album had production duo the Neptunes (Williams and Chad Hugo) teaming up with Shay Haley and flirting with elements of hip-hop, rock, funk and pop. The album was first released in Europe in 2001 but was remodelled with a different tracklisting for a North American release in 2002. The reissue will feature the original European tracklisting.
