New Friends Fest is returning to Toronto's Lithuanian House for its sixth annual edition, and organizers have now unveiled the 2025 lineup heading to the city's West End from August 1 to 3 (in addition to the pre-festival show on July 31).
Joining the DIY festivities are On the Might of Princes, the Saddest Landscape and Snowing making rare appearances, the reunion of Beau Navire, plus Sadness and Rolo Tomassi's first Canadian shows.
You can also catch talent from at home and abroad, including Home Is Where, State Faults, Your Arms Are My Cocoon, Gillian Carter, Satón, Piri Reis, Tenue, Animal Faces, Respire, Capacities, Slow Fire Pistol, Nuvolascura, Edhochuli, Life, Bulletsbetweentongues, Senza, Swimming, Mt. Oriander, Bloom Dream, Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead, Botfly, LÖRI, Drought, Kaiba, idialedyournumber, Gingerbee, Pyre, Piper Maru, CEASE, Keening and the Disaster.
New Friends Fest — whose commitment to DIY and inclusivity remains at the fore — will additionally host social events, comedy, a merch swap, vendors and record labels at this year's all-ages event.
Leading up to the flagship festival, New Friends DIY has lined up a number of standalone shows with performances from Sun Junkies, Thotcrimes, Workers Comp, GUTMACHINE and many more. Ticketing information for New Friends Fest and other shows can be found via NFF's website.
