Next month, long-running, once Vancouver-based supergroup the New Pornographers will return with their new album Brill Bruisers. We've heard the album's title track, and today we get another taste of the release with a video for the song "War on the East Coast."
The video was shot by Thom Gunt, and is comprised of one long shot that follows Dan Bejar and Carl Newman through a city as it crumbles at the hands of war.
"We were going for some mid-nineties second-tier Britpop attitude," Newman said in a press release. "In the past, I've never really wanted to be in the video. But with this, we wanted to have fun and fully be in the video."
