NewMusicWest Seeking Demo Submissions

NewMusicWest is currently in search of talent to showcase during its conference and festival, scheduled for May 2 to 6. Accepting applications from all genres, every demo will be heard by three industry professionals who will decide the performers for the event. An added bonus for submissions is the chance to have your music promoted on Sirius Satellite Radio, CBC Radio 3, NMW’s website and 29 Mobile ring tones. Past performers of the festival include the Flaming Lips, My Morning Jacket, Hot Hot Heat, Stars and Sam Roberts. Applications must be received no later than February 23, and require at least two songs, one photograph and an artist’s bio.
