That whole thought experiment about whether or not a tree falling in a forest makes a sound if nobody's around to hear it is also applicable to Nickelback being on tour. After a busy summer festival circuit and lots more time before that on the road behind Get Rollin', the band have done the inevitable: announced the release of a live album.
In a country twist, the 'back chose to record their sold-out 2023 show at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, which featured guest appearances from Chris Daughtry, ERNEST, HARDY, Brantley Gilbert, Josh Ross and Bailey Zimmerman. The 18-track Live in Nashville LP arrives November 15 via BMG.
All the hits are present and accounted for, with live renditions of the likes of "Far Away," "Hero," "Photograph" and "Rockstar" led by a performance of Get Rollin' lead single "San Quentin," which you can hear below. If you're not sure about the audio impact of pyrotechnics without the visual display, this is as good of a chance as any to find out.
