With all of the insane political strife in the world, many are fearful that doomsday is right around the corner. Only adding to the paranoia is the grave, apocalyptic notion that chart-topping EDM duo the Chainsmokers are becoming friends with hard-rocking 'Berta boys Nickelback. While they've yet to hang out in real life, the two groups have been having a friendly flirt on social media.
It all started earlier this week when the Chainsmokers responded to allegations that they're the Nickelback of EDM by covering the latter's "How You Remind Me."
By now, Nickelback are used to the public's visceral hatred of them, so they've learned to take things like this in stride. As such, they replied to the Chainsmokers by covering their mega-hit "Closer."
