No Age’s Randy Randall Directs Skate DVD

As drummer Dean Spunt revealed in the May issue of Exclaim!, skateboarding is an important part of No Age. As such, guitarist Randy Randall was recently enlisted to direct The Foreigners, a short film for pro-skateboarder Andrew Reynald’s Altamont Apparel line.

The film follows the Altamont skate team on a trip through Europe. Here’s what the label had to say about the project:

For Altamont’s latest trip to Paris, France, we tapped Randy Randall from the band No Age to film and direct our new tour DVD, a short film entitled The Foreigners. In this film, Randy captured an impressionist's view of the Altamont skate team abroad from his unique visual artist's perspective; encapsulating the look, the feel and, of course, the skating to produce this short glimpse of life on the road with Altamont.

The DVD also includes No Age’s video for "Eraser” and is available for free with Altamont purchases at select retailers.
