After announcing their upcoming LP An Object, Los Angeles art punks No Age have shared the first taste of the release with "C'mon Stimmung."
The song is a loose, raw track that shares more with the band's scrappy early work than their more polished two Sub Pop albums. Drummer and vocalist Dean Spunt offers up near shouted vocals, and guitarist Randy Randall replaces his recent shoegaze experimentation with a straightforward guitar track. To keep things interesting, what sounds like a broken organ plays the lead.
Check out the song below via a new video, though the band have subtitled it as "not the video." An Object will drop on August 20 via Sub Pop.
