No Choice

Together since the early 1980s in one form or another, this is, amazingly, No Choice's first release. The British quartet hail from the same school as Leatherface, Snuff and China Drum — that of the melodic punk with real balls and attitude. Adding to the inherent Brit-ness of their sound, are the trans-Atlantic influences of Jawbreaker and most noticeably, Hüsker Dü. But where No Choice differs from all those bands is in its politics. They aren't afraid to use their art as a soapbox from which to point out the evils of the world and demand action to correct them. It's also entirely fitting that a band that sounds like Hüsker Dü would find a home on a label named after one of that late-great band's best songs.
