No Joy Reveal New 'CREEP' EP, Premiere "Califone" Video

Last year, Montreal noise-pop duo No Joy promised to say "fuck you" to the music industry with a new series of EPs. Now in the wake of their Drool Sucker mini-release, they are raising that middle finger again with the CREEP EP.

The release from the duo of Jasamine White-Gluz and Laura Lloyd will arrive on February 24 via the label collective Grey Market, who will release CREEP on vinyl and digitally. It was produced by Jorge Elbrecht, who also guests on the EP, and tracked in Montreal at Hotel2Tango and in White-Gluz's apartment.

A press release has this to say about the EP:

As the principal writer of their past catalog, White-Gluz steers the material on CREEP in new directions, drawing on varied influences ranging from Industrial to New Age. With co-writer and producer Jorge Elbrecht, the pair create a soundscape that is both familiar and fresh.

You can get an idea how that plays out by watching the new video for EP track "Califone" below. Also below, you'll find a series of upcoming No Joy tour dates, which include a stop in Ottawa on February 10 and one in Toronto on February 11.
