Los Angeles electronic producer Nosaj Thing has nabbed some noteworthy guest vocalists for his upcoming album, Home, due out in 2013 through Innovative Leisure. In addition to Chaz Bundick of Toro y Moi, the producer recruited Kazu Makino of Blonde Redhead to sing on the track "Eclipse/Blue," which you can hear right now.
The song is anchored by eerie electro swells and low key beats, and these are made all the more dreamy by Makino's soft vocals. It's a nocturnal track that's soporifically peaceful despite being just a little bit unsettling.
This single will be released on 10-inch vinyl through Timetable next month. As for the rest of the tracks on Home, expect them to offer more of Nosaj's "signature cinematic soundscapes."
