Toronto-via-Australia rapper Notion will release a new EP titled Heart on My Sleeve later this year, but ahead of its arrival, he's shared a video for album cut "Holdin' Hands."
The track blends Notion's earnest lyrics about his own musical accomplishments and gratitude for his supporters with a snare-driven beat and emotive vocal samples, all streamlined into a slick sonic package.
The song has now been given the video treatment courtesy of Budapest-based production team DiazSima, comprised of videographer/editor King Richard and director/producer Andrew Cameron. The clip also sees guest appearances from Notion's brother Cee and b-boy crew 701 Squad.
The aforementioned Heart on My Sleeve doesn't have a firm release date yet, but the EP does have confirmed cameos from Maestro Fresh Wes, Skyzoo, Ghettosocks, D-Shade, Cee and Jonathan Emile — so it's definitely one to watch out for. In the meantime, get a teaser of things to come by watching the video premiere of "Holdin' Hands" below.
