At the Horseshoe, the Novaks imported rock from 'the Rock' (i.e. St. John's, Newfoundland), delivering bar-room riffs short on frills but executed with real precision. A Thiin Lizzy feel was evident on some songs, while new single "There Goes The Night" certainly sounded ready for prime-time rock radio exposure.
