Well, it appears that the
trash talkin' ways of Thunderheist in the April issue of Exclaim! has inspired one obscure Ontario band to call out Isis and Grahm Zilla.
Through an email sent to Exclaim!, ABX "officially announced their beef with Thunderheist." Included with the note was the mention of a diss track called "Pulse," which is currently streaming over at their various social networking pages.
The reasoning behind this release is because "the band wants to check Thunderheist; 'don't mouth off when you're under our level,' says Goddard (the monikered lead singer of the electronic-experimental duo). The singer added, 'if you don't have the skills to back up your noise, you're putting yourself up to be knocked down. All you're spreading is negativity.'"
Yes, mouthing off spreads negativity, so don't make noise... y'know, like "checking" other bands, making diss tracks and officially announcing your beef through letters to the editor.
