I can’t pinpoint exactly where my moderate liking of this album lies. It could be the surprising fact that these kids are barely breaking the legal drinking age, it could be the slight resemblance the band hold to their neighbours Underoath, or it could be that they are fresh onto the market at less than a year old. Regardless, these guys deserve some credibility for The Tide and its pleasant yet aggressive compositions and melodies. Tracks one through to 12 kept my attention and, bonus, even entertained me.
