Red lights, stop signs; can you see Miss Olivia Rodrigo's face in the vehicle ahead of you? Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear — as is a Disney+ documentary chronicling the making of the pop star's breakthrough debut album SOUR.

driving home 2 u (a SOUR film) premieres on the streaming service on March 25. Directed by Stacey Lee, it captures the road trip Rodrigo took from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles that marked the beginning of her penning the album — very fitting, given her hit single "drivers license."

In addition to documenting the process of making the record, the film will feature intimate interviews with the singer-songwriter and new live arrangements of the songs.

"This is a unique film experience where, for the first time, fans will understand how her album came to be and why it was such a personal journey for Olivia," president of Disney Branded Television Ayo Davis said in a release. "This is not a concert film per se, but really, an opportunity to experience first-hand how Olivia Rodrigo became one of the biggest music stars of the day — and a chance to see her perform the songs from SOUR like never before."

Rodrigo released her pop-punk-indebted debut LP last May and Exclaim! named it one of the 50 Best Albums of 2021. It was also considered among the year's top five releases by Exclaim! readers who voted in our Readers Poll.

Recently, Canada's very own Motherfucking Princess Avril Lavigne praised Rodrigo for the return of "rock 'n' roll on the charts" by her hand.
