Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark are gearing up for the April release release of English Electric, and following a music video for the single "Metroland," they have now rolled out another album track.
This one is called "Night Café," and it overlays its steadily mid-tempo electronic pulse with soft melodies and dreamscape synths. It's pretty stuff, in particular the blissful synth leads.
Slicing Up Eyeballs additionally notes that OMD will drop a new EP on Record Store Day (April 20). Entitled The Future Will Remain Silent, it will be pressed on a 10-inch picture disc, and includes four songs from English Electric plus an exclusive called "Time Burns."
