Last week, Portugal-based electronic music perfecter Panda Bear announced he'd be offering up new interpretations of some songs from his Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper in a new digital EP called PBVSGR Remixes. The wait, albeit brief, is over, as Domino both dropped the set today (June 29) and put the whole thing up in an online stream.
As we'd learned last week, the quickie collection includes previously premiered remixes like the Andy Stott-delivered "Boys Latin,", PC Music member Danny L Harle's re-envisioned "Come to Your Senses" and Pete Rock's vintage boom bap-dabbling take on "Crosswords."
Down below, you can hear those tracks, as well as the chopped vocals, alarming air sirens and percussive house approach of DJ Marfox's "Come to Your Senses," and the filthy, broken tailpipe blast of Container's industrial-style remix of "Mr. Noah."
