Parlovr Explore Hell / Heaven / Big / Love on New EP

Much has changed for Montreal rockers Parlovr since they released their self-titled debut in 2008: they now have a record deal with Dine Alone, as well as a fan base eagerly anticipating new material. On October 19, the trio will capitalize on their recent success with a new EP, Hell / Heaven / Big / Love.

According to a press release, the four-song collection initially began with a single song, "Hell, Heaven." During a session with Martin Horn at Digital Bird Studios (the same place where Parlovr recorded their LP) it evolved into a full EP. The tracks "range thematically from tales of androgynous past lovers to obscure '70s performance artists."

The trio have a pair of Quebec shows coming up this weekend. See the schedule below the tracklist. There's no word as to when the band plan to record the follow-up to their full-length.

Hell / Heaven / Big / Love:

1. "Hell, Heaven"
2. "Big Love"
3. "Where is the Sun"
4. "Tehching Hsieh"

Tour dates:

9/3 Montreal, QC - Les Nocturnes Du Musee d'Art Contemporain
9/4 Rouyn-Noranda, QC - Festival de Musique Emergente
