Producer Paul White had his fingers all over Danny Brown's breakthrough XXX, and now the floppy-maned rhymer is paying the beatsmith back in kind by adding lines to White's upcoming "Street Lights" 12-inch.
White offers up a dense bed of droning vocals, dead-of-night dial tones, and flute and string flourishes atop a hypnotic '70s funk shuffle, while Brown spits hard about a dim future ("I'm living where I know it ain't right / In the city of no street lights").
You can download the track in the player down below or sample all of the 12-inch, including remixes, over on White's Bandcamp page.
"Street Lights" drops April 14 on One Handed Music.
