PEERS

"Ex-Teens" (video)

Growing up isn't easy, but Toronto outfit PEERS tackle the job pretty gracefully on the tune "Ex-Teens" — and Exclaim! has your first look at the brand new music video for it.

Sweetly sung vocals directed at a woman named Christina get set against a backdrop of gently plucked guitar — but as the percussion begins to swell, distorted fuzz kicks in and an epic electric solo takes over.

The visual accompaniment adds a sinister vibe to the track, showcasing the band onstage at a bar until a lady pulls a gun on them. As the shot is fired, the band sink into a world of technicolour flashbacks that see them trekking through snow and setting off fireworks.

Watch the explosive clip in the player below, and be sure to catch PEERS live at their next show on February 4 at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto.
