Legendary post-punk bassist Peter Hook had previously spoken with Exclaim! about his plans to revisit his entire discography during live shows, eventually bringing each album back to the stage in full. Having spent 2013 performing New Order's Movement and Power, Corruption & Lies, he will continue to make his way through the band's discography in 2014.
Hook has booked a pair of performances for late September in England, during which he and his band the Light will perform 1985's Low-Life and 1986's Brotherhood in full. The first gig is on September 25 at the Ritz in Manchester and the second is on September 27 at 02 Shepard's Bush Empire in London.
Slicing Up Eyeballs reports that the shows are billed as "From Confusion to True Faith," which is a reference to two singles from the period. In addition to playing Low-Life and Brotherhood, Hook and his band will perform non-LP tracks from 1983 to 1987.
While there are currently just two shows, Hook will presumably tour extensively behind these albums, as he has done with other LPs in recent years.
