French pop rockers Phoenix recently gave up all the details behind their impending Bankrupt! LP, and have now offered up the first taste of the tunes by premiering "Entertainment."
The track fits nicely within Phoenix's light and airy back catalogue, with the new number finding a number of synths wrapping around guitar melodies and vocalist Thomas Mars' familiar lilting vocal patterns. The track interestingly opts out of a backbeat for part of the chorus, relying on a rippling wave of electro bass fuzz and falsetto vocals to get the point across.
