Phoenix haven't released a new album since 2013's Bankrupt!, but the French band did begin teasing some sort of comeback on social media late last year. Now, they've revealed a series of upcoming tour dates with a trailer that features a snippet of new music.
While the band have still yet to announce any upcoming shows in Canada, they've added dates in Los Angeles, Paris and London, in addition to their previously announced slot at this year's Governors Ball in New York. The news arrived via a video trailer that is soundtracked by a 29-second clip of a previously unheard track.
Offering up an intriguing blend of moody bass and sparkly synths, the electro-tinged indie-pop unit sound back in fine form. The track cuts off before we hear too much, but you can listen to the brief glimmer of new material below.
The band's full future live itinerary can be found here.
